Post-war London. A deserted eminent husband. A sensitive, trapped woman. A fiery, brave pilot no longer unemployed. What, at first glance, looks like a love triangle is, in fact, an anatomy of a society ravaged by a bloody war and trapped by repressed passions, unfulfilled desires and unbearable social pressures covered by a hypocritical veneer of respectability.
